Project Title: Turnberry Road Improvements — Subgrade hrvestigation & Pavement Design
Commencement Date: December 5, 2011
Completion Date: January 16, 2012
Maximum Fee: (time and reimbursable direct costs): not to exceed $ 5,400.00
Project Description: The project includes all the work necessary to provide geotechnical consultation services to
develop a subgrade investigation and pavement design recommendations for the section of
Turnberry Road between Country Club Road and Brightwater Drive.
Scope of Services: The work will include, but will not be limited to, conducting eight soils borings within the fill on
the cast side of Turnberry Road, and two soils boring at the planned location of the pedestrian
underpass, the traffic control necessary to conduct the soils borings, and conducting necessary
laboratory analysis to provide a subgrade investigation and pavement design report. The soil
borings at the pedestrian underpass will extend to depths of 25 to 35 feet, while the soil borings for
the pavement design will extend 10 feet. All borings will need to be backfilled per City of port
Collins standards once the subsurface investigation has been conducted.
Service Provider agrees to perform the services
identified above and on the attached forms in
accordance with the terms and conditions contained
herein and in the Services Agreement between the
parties. In the event of a conflict between or
ambiguity in the terms of the Services Agreement
and this work order (including the attached forms),
the Services Agreement shall control.
The attached forms consisting of two (2) pages are
hereby accepted and incorporated herein by this
reference, and Notice to Proceed is hereby given.
