Advertisement must be in at least one newspaper of general circulation such as the Daily Journal or Denver Post. It should also be in the official county paper where the work is being done. Advertisement must be at least twice and time between first advertisement and the bid opening must be 21 days. The UDBE goal must be stated in the advertisement. Projects on CDOT right of way require contractors to be on CDOT's prequalified list. The proposal package must include: Form 606, Anti -Collusion Affidavit Form 714, UDBE Bid Conditions Assurance and the Notice of Changes http://www.dot.state.co.usibidding/ Pick CDOT Bidding Forms from the lower lefthand side of the page Forms 606 and 714 must be in the bid package and submitted with all contractor's bids. Bids will not be accepted if they don't have these forms. The following paragraph must be included in your Bid Package: The CDOT Form 347, Certification of EEO Compliance, is no longer required to be submitted in the bid package. This form certified that the contractor/proposed subcontractors were in compliance with the Joint Reporting Committee EEO-1 form requirements. The EEO-1 Report must still be submitted to the Joint Reporting Committee if the contractors and subcontractors meet the eligibility requirements (29CFR 1602.7); we will, however, no longer require certification.
