As a result, they have requested a proposal for The Leadership Challenge 3 day session focusing on developing tools and techniques to enhance leadership skills in the 5 Exemplary Practice areas as outlined by Kouzes and Posner. Specifically, the Workshop will be utilizing the Participant Workbook and Manual to achieve competency in the 5 Practices of Exemplary Leadership, Proposed Approach Strategic Innovation Associates, LLC uses a whole system and comprehensive approach to Leadership Development. The whole system approach ensures alignment with the rest of the program, the strategies of each organization and is highly participative focusing on real work of the participants as it works in internalizing the content from the Leadership Challenge Methodology. This approach will consist of the following steps 1. Conversation with the key stakeholders/sponsors to understand key issues in each organization and ensure alignment to overall Leadership Development Program. 2. Administration of the individual LPI and/or 360 LPI depending on desire of the stakeholders/sponsors. 3. Prepare for and facilitate the 3 days. 4. Debrief with stakeholders/sponsors. City of Fort Collins, Larimer County and Poudre School District Project Team Cheryl Foss specializes in Leadership Development, Strategy Development and Change Management. She has over 15 years of successful experience with corporations, academic institutions, government agencies, small businesses, and non- profits. Cheryl draws from her experience as a leader and manager as well as her years of coaching and consulting experience, offering her clients a powerful balance of operational expertise and consulting expertise. She is proficient in researching, designing, and executing interventions and programs that allow individuals and organizations to drastically increase their impact and achieve results. Cheryl helps organizations and individuals develop their capacity to achieve their goals. She also helps design structures and processes, integrate new businesses, learn how to accelerate the rate at which they identify, raise and resolve issues, develop leadership and management skills and align key stakeholders in systems. In addition, she has worked with many clients on applying in-depth expertise on contemporary leadership and developmental principles, concepts and practices and applies these elements to their specific roles. Cheryl holds a Masters Degree in Occupational, Clinical Social Work and a Bachelors Degree in Business Management Development. She is also the program director and lead faculty for the National Sheriffs Institute, a leadership development program for newly elected sheriffs from across the US. In addition, she is part of leading the University of Texas leadership development program for staff and faculty. She has worked with JDSU, Microsoft, Avago Technologies, Time Warner Telecomm and other organizations specifically helping develop their leaders. Other Government clients include Boulder Valley Schools, Jefferson County Schools, Corvallis School District, Jefferson County Public Library, Department of Defense, United States Coast Guard, US Supreme Court, City of Baton Rouge and Maryland County. She is conversant with the Leadership Profile Inventory, Power Base Instrument, DiSC, Leading Change Inventory, MBTI, various 360 assessments, LIFO and other instruaments used to assess and develop leaders. City of Fort Collins, Larimer County and Poudre School District Proposed Time Estimates and Costs Strategic Innovation Associates, LLC will offer a discounted rate of $1200.00 per day or $150.00 per hour. Below are the following fees estimates: Administration of the On -Line LPIs and Report Generation (if applicable) (Estimated 4 hours at $150.00 per hour) $ 600.00 Preparation for 3 day Session (Estimated 4 hours at $150.00 per hour) $ 600.00 Facilitation of 3 days (3 days at $1,200.00 per day) $3,600.00 Maximum (Not to Exceed) $4,800.00 Strategic Innovation Associates, LLC will only bill for the actual time spent not to exceed the total of the proposed amount. Below is the exact cost of the materials: • 15 Leadership Challenge Hardback textbooks at $17.07 per book for a total of $256.05 • 24 - 360 Degree On-line Assessments at $74.10 per assessment for a total of $1778.40 Total Materials Cost is $2,034.45 plus any applicable tax, shipping and handling The Leadership Challenge Workshop, Participant's Workbook, 3rd Edition Revised, Values Cards and Remaining Textbooks will be provided by City of Fort Collins.
