Flush bottoms of risers Do not flush through chiller, boiler or ice tanks until after distribution system has been thoroughly cleaned. 5) Drain until collected water samples are determined to be visually clear. 6) Cleaning: After initial flush add cleaning solution at the concentration recommende1bythe manufacturer. Circulate cleaning solution for at least 24 hours. 7) Flush out cleaning solution or neutralize until the water is at an acceptable concentr level per the cleaning solution's manufacturer's specs. 8) CHW Piping: Refill the CHW pipe with clean water for the installation of water chemistry as specified. Note that the chemical treatment provider will need to be ready to respond at the time of this filling. 9) CHW Follow -Up: Circulate the CHW system while monitoring/cleaning the fine -mesh screens in the pumps.
