Description of RFP 7047: Lincoln Center Addition and Renovations
OPENING DATE: 3:00 P.M. (Our Clock) July 23, 2009
To all prospective bidders under the specifications and contract documents described
above, the following changes are hereby made.
CHANGES/CLARIFICATIONS:
Question # 1 Does the City of Fort Collins have particular forms for the fee estimate and
would such forms be necessary as part of the Statement of Qualifications?
Answer # 1 There are no such forms required and it is up to each proposer to present the Not
To Exceed fee estimate as best deemed appropriate. Please include hourly rates
for all firms on your team.
Question #2 Two questions were submitted requesting clarification to the requirements
for the acoustic engineering design scope in the RFP Chapter 3, Professional
Services.
Answer #2 In answer to both questions: Please disregard any reference to a requirement for
acoustic engineering services in the RFP and/or previous Addenda at this time.
All acoustic engineering services that may be necessary for the project will be
added to the professional services agreement by change order after the design
contract has been awarded and after the design scope for this particular discipline
has been further refined and subsequently defined.
Question #3 Will the building utilities tie into existing utilities, or not?
Answer #3 Utility location and/or utility capacity requirements for the project (relative to
such items as gas, electric, water, telephone) are conditions that will be
determined through the design process. The City has no preconceived
requirement or guidance to direct the proposer at this time.
Question #4 Will a survey be required or will it be supplied by the City?
Answer #4 Please see item d, and also item d., bullet 2, in Chapter 3, Professional Services
which states: "All civil design services." And, "All other civil design work
necessary for City approval."
Clarification statement as follows: Design work necessary to meet "City
approval" is defined as: meeting all the requirements necessary to successfully
satisfy and complete the City of Fort Collins Development Review Process for
the project. A survey may be required by this process. The City will not provide
a survey (other than baseline information that may already exist and/or reside in
our files. It is the responsibility of the proposer to research the appropriate
records and/or solicit this information from various possible sources within the
City organization.
