Box 580 Fort Collins, CO 80522 Dear Mr. Parton: IL,y'y 0 92009 RECEIVED We are pleased to have been invited to receive the recent City of Fort Collins RFP for Asset Management Plan Development and Implementation for the Utilities Department. The City of Fort Collins is a very important client to Brown and Caldwell, and we are looking forward to building a strong, value -based relationship that delivers long-term benefits to you, your Department and the community. With regard to this RFP, however, we believe that our current knowledge of the project is less than adequate for presenting an appropriate proposal that would meet the specific needs, interests and goals of the City. As such, we have decided to forego a submittal in this instance. Brown and Caldwell possesses extensive expertise in asset management planning and implementation, as well as with water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure and treatment facilities. We would be delighted to continue to receive invitations to propose on the City's projects in the future, and look forward to the opportunities to work together. If you should have any questions or comments, please feel free to call me directly at (303) 239-5476. As always, I look forward to keeping in touch with you and to have the chance to meet in person someday soon.
