The work may occur throughout the year, with the exclusion of the pup season (spring months). The majority of the work will likely occur in cooler months of fall and winter. The amount of work in any season will vary and may be fairly small scale (10 to 20 acres) to much larger (200 acres). The contractor will be expected to follow up on each assignment within two weeks of the initial application and reapply the phostoxin to burrows that remain active. The selected contractor will be able to initiate the work for a specific work order within 15 calendar days.
