Prior to issuing Notice to Proceed Notice to Proceed & Construction (Phase 1) — approx September 1, 2008 Notice to Proceed & Construction (Phase 2) —November 1, 2008 Completion Dates for the Project (Article 3 Section 520) Substantial Completion Date — November 30, 200$(Phase 1) March 20, 2009 (Phase 2) Final Acceptance — March 30, 2009 (Phase 1 & 2) V SUMMARY OF WORK General The work consists of the following Phase 1 Three (3) picnic shelters, the Lindenmeier observation shelter, two (2)kiosks, the entrance station building and entrance station island curbing, sidewalk and parking area Phase 2 North and south trailhead trail paving and handicap parking spaces and paved trail to the Lindenmeier site SOAPSTONE PRAIRIE NATURAL AREA Shelters and Observatory PRE BID MEETING NOTES Wednesday, August 6, 2008 VI HIGHLIGHTS FROM GENERAL CONDITIONS AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Superintendents - General Contractor is required to provide a designated full time superintendent on site at all times that Work is progressing Luiuidated Damages -As defined in the Agreement (Article 3, Section 00520) Warranty — City contract requires a two-year warranty penod Construction Hours - 7 00 A M to 6 00 P M , Monday through Friday, except legal Holidays Weekend work and Night work maybe allowed on a limited basis to construct improvements to take advantage of favorable weather conditions Construction Surveying — Provided by the Owner Geotechmcal and Materials Testing - Provided by Owner Protect Meeting Once a week, to be determined Progress and Schedule Revisions - Schedules shall be updated weekly Budding Permits — To be pulled by the Contractor Fees to be paid directly to the county by the Owner VII SITE PLANNING COORDINATION -
