customers Manitoba Hydro is one of Canada s largest energy and natural gas utilities In 1999 Centro Gas in Manitoba implemented the Indus Banner CIS and Alliance Data hosted and operated the system In April 1999 Westcoast Energy Inc announced the sale of Centra Gas Manitoba to Manitoba Hydro and in 2001 Manitoba Hydro purchased a license from Alliance Data to operate the Indus Banner CIS system In 2002 Manitoba Hydro announced the purchase of Winnipeg Hydro Manitoba Hydro s current initiative is to convert all electric customers from an existing electric CIS system onto Banner CIS that currently supports gas customers In doing so Manitoba Hydro continues to rely on the product and industry expertise of Alliance Data who is helping it to make strategic Banner modifi cations needed to
