Initial Pile Depths were considered from elevation of 4WS Ft Tap of the abutment
elevation to be 4908.5 Ft. and top of pier elevation to be 4896.5 Ft. Thus a
difference of 21.50 Ft, and 11.50 Ft respectively. With 18 piles each the total LF
estimated was 594 Ft @ $34.000 is equal to $57.24/1-F. This price includes
mobilization on the pile machine as wall as pile tuts. These costs are therefore
not included In the additional pile driving cost. Actual length of the pile driving is
$12 FT. Thus a differ6nce of 218 Ft.
Several items Hera addressed at Bath Landscaping the were not shown on the
approved plans and specifications,
Installed Form at Risk Removal to protect the business from dust and large rocks
generated by the construction.
Unexpected concrete and trash buried in the area of Pond 11 that was dug out
and removed from the site.
Added 15 additional days to the contract for all 0f the extra work that was
placed upon the contractor.
