As a result, the City is looking for a Sigmnaker to handle the physical creation of the signs, per the camera-ready artwork provided by the Advertising Client who purchases the Ad Space. The awarded Signmaker(s) will work in conjunction with the Advertising Seller, City representatives, and the Advertising Client in order to create, produce, and install signs at locations at EPIC (Edora Pool Ice Center, 1801 Riverside Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado) per their graphic design specifications; and the physical specifications stated here. Once awarded, the contract period is intended to run from May 1, 2006 until April 30, 2007. Category Panel Quantities shown are the total spaces currently available; the City intends to encourage Advertising Clients to "lease" the space for periods of one year or multiple -year periods. Hence, most of the signmaking workload is expected to occur within the first year; with lesser workload in the subsequent years. At the option of the City, the Award from this Faxquote Proposal may be extended for additional one-year periods not to exceed four (4) additional one-year periods (maximum five years total). BIDDING REQUIREMENTS: 1) Bidder is to fill in the Unit Cost for each item, and multiply it out by the Total Quantity, to fill in the Extended Cost. Unit Cost includes all application labor. The City of Fort Collins reserves the right to award categories by Total Bid, by Line Item, or by Category Type or Group; whichever is most advantageous to the City. 2) All items bid must include freight F.O.B. Destination, Freight Prepaid. All freight and travel charges must be included in prices submitted on proposal. 3) Turnaround times quoted must be your Guaranteed Maximum; client expectation is that advertising will appear @ EPIC within the stated time after the acceptance of camera-ready artwork by the signmaker. Please indicate your quickest reasonable and consistently achieveable delivery date for Quality Workmanship on your bid response for each Category; the City reserves the right to use rapid delivery time as an award criteria for this bid. 4) The City may or may not elect to award a Primary and a Secondary Vendor for award. In the event that a Secondary Vendor is awarded, as a standard practice, the City would contact the Primary Contractor regarding the specifics of the need. If the primary contractor is unable to meet the need with sufficient qualified personnel in the time frame required, the secondary contractor would be contacted.
