The design grade that Box Culvert 02 was designed to was 0.68'
higher than the concrete lined ditch. Mountain Constructors had
already excavated all the toe walls and MLL had setup forms for this
grade. After a quick call to FHU Consultant £ngineors, we decided
that the box culvert grade should be set to the same grade as the
channel. Mountain Constructors and MLL were directed to undo their
work and re -excavate the box culvert to the lower grade. This change
order pays Mountain Constructors and MLL for the adjustments to the
box culvert elevation.
