HIGHLIGHTS FROM GENERAL CONDITIONS AND GENERAL REQ'S: ♦ CONSTRUCTION SURVEYING: o Provided by the Contractor o Lump Sum Bid ♦ TRAFFIC CONTROL: o Provided by the Contractor o Lump Sum Bid ♦ GEOTECHNICAL AND MATERIALS TESTING: o Provided by the Owner. It will be the Contractor's responsibility to schedule the testing. HIGHLIGHTS FROM GENERAL CONDITIONS AND GENERAL REQ'S: ♦ PROJECT MEETINGS: o Once a week at the construction trailer located on site, time to be determined. The TCS will be required to attend all weekly meeting. ♦ PROGRESS AND SCHEDULE REVISIONS: o Schedules shall be updated weekly. The Contractor may be required t submit additional schedules depending on the progress of the project. ♦ HAUL ROUTES: o Arterial and Collector streets only. Contractor will not be allowed to use residential streets to access the site with trucks hauling materials. HIGHLIGHTS FROM GENERAL CONDITIONS AND GENERAL REQ'S: ♦ SITE CLEAN-UP: o The construction work and progresses shall be kept and accomplished in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. SITE COORDINATION WITH OTHER CONTRACTORS ♦ CARGILL IRRIGATION o Contractor will need to coordinate with Ditch owner to make sure that ditch is open and running by April 15. ♦ COMCAST CABLE: o Will need to coordinate with Comcast Cable on installation of new facilities. ♦ XCEL ENERGIES (GAS) o Work with Xcel High Pressure Gas to assure safe conditions during construction over their 8" High Pressure Gas main. ♦ XCEL ENERGIES (ELECTRIC) o Coordinate with Xcel Energies and the City of Fort Collins Utilities on the removal of the Overhead Power lines along the west side of Timberline. TRAFFIC CONTROL AND WORK AREA SAFETY: ♦ TRAFFIC CONTROL: o The traffic control for this project will be paid for by the Lump Sum to the Contractor and will include all costs for the traffic control associated with this project. o Detailed Traffic Control Plans are available for o Bridge Work o Bi-Directional Closures o Lane Drops on Prospect TRAFFIC CONTROL AND WORK AREA SAFETY: ♦ TRAFFIC CONTROL: o Traffic Control Plans must be submitted and approved 72 hours prior to the start of construction and before making each modification. o Full road closures will not be allowed. o Bi-directional traffic closures will be allowed thru our Traffic Control Coordinator and must be submitted 3 weeks prior to any work being done. o Local Residential Access: o Local access must be maintained at all times for the residents along Timberline Road. o Business access must be maintained at all times for the business owners along Timberline and Prospect Road. c City of Fort Collins will coordinate with the homeowners and business owners so driveways can be closed for short oerlods of time, A1� TRAFFIC CONTROL AND WORK AREA SAFETY: ♦ WORK AREA SAFETY: o The Contractor Shall provide, at the Contractor's expense, all work area safety control devices, such as barricades and safety fence around all excavations, trenches and drop offs. Also adding turn lanes on Prospect Road and upgrading medians In Prospect from the Great Western Railroad Tracks on the West to the Spring Creek Bridge on the East and widening out the entire intersection and upgrading the traffic lights. Also Included with this project will be the addition of Medians on Timberline Road from Drake Road to the end of Integrated Equities Property. This project will construct the Perimeter roads for the new City of Fort Collins Police Services Facility. Spring Creek Bridge on Timberline will be widened to the west approximately 85 feet.
