The roadway must be striped and opened to traffic. • If substantial completion has not been met by October 31 2005, then the Contractor will be charged liquidated damages of $1,150.60 per calendar day until substantial completion has been met. The TCS will be required to attend all weekly meetings. ♦ PROGRESS AND SCHEDULE REVISIONS: - Schedules shall be updated weekly. The schedule for this project is important to the City of Fort Collins. The Contractor may be required to submit additional schedules depending on the progress of the project. ♦ HAUL ROUTES: - Arterial and Collector streets only. Contractor will not be allowed to use residential streets to access the site with trucks hauling materials. Due to the high visibility of this job, it is important to keep a professional looking site. SITE COORDINATION WITH OTHER CONTRACTORS: ♦ PSD / FCI Constructors: - We will need to keep access into the Kinard Junior High site at all times. We will also need to coordinate all of our construction activities with the School District and FCI Constructors so we do not interfere with their schedule. ♦ QWEST: - There is a phone line buried on the west side of Ziegler that will need to be temporarily relocated while we are under construction. The contact from QWEST are: Bill Johnson (377-6401) TRILBY ROAD AND ZIEGLER ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT SITE COORDINATION WITH OTHER CONTRACTORS: ♦COFC LIGHT AND POWER: - There will be a new COFC duct bank installed on the West side of Ziegler and the North side of the newly constructed Trilby Road behind the curb and gutter. This work is already being done by the COFC Light and Power Company, however, this work will need to be coordinated with: Monica Moore (224- 6150) *CONDUIT PLACEMENT: - The Contractor must install conduit underneath the sidewalk for future irrigation and future City of Fort Collins telecommunication along the school property. 1.0 TRAFFIC CONTROL AND WORK AREA SAFETY: ♦ TRAFFIC CONTROL: - The traffic control for this project will be paid for by the Lumo Sum to the Contractor and will include all costs for the traffic control associated with this project. - Message Boards will be paid for by the Lump Sum • A total of 2 message boards for 3 days will be required to inform the surrounding public of any road closures.
