Dear Linda,
This letter is in response to our telephone conversation regarding the Downtown CAncessionaire
fee.
Ater giving this much consideration, we have decided that it is no longer in our best interest to
continue vending on the corner of Oak and College in Fort Coffins. We would like to mention a
few of the masons for this.
1. Since we had to relocate due to the c>onstmctiou on the corner, our sales
have dropped considerably.
2. The presence of the homeless on the corner has reeled out of control.
The homeless are rude, humnsiderate, vulgar and a nuisance to our
customers. They have caused many customers to go elsewhere, and at
times they have frightened and threatened us.
3. The drop in business, along with the fees and taxes have made it less
than profitable for our business to continue to operate downtown.
4. The lack of consistency from the city to keep the restrooms open for the
hours listed on the restroom doors has caused a great ioconvemerpoe for us and for
our customers. We have people urinating on the sidewalks and even on our
vehicles.
We wart to dunk you for giving us the opportunity to operate our business downtown and look
forward to vending at special events and other activities as they arise.
Sincerely,
Kathy Fay
