DESCRIPTION: "Long Live the Pedestrians" APP Project
1. Reason for change:
The artist team of Design Tria had to modify original art concepts in the APP contract due to
changes beyond their control in the construction project on the W. Elizabeth St. Project
2. Description of Change:
(See attachment)
3. Change in Contract Cost:
$233 will be added to purchase two additional mosaic panels.
$400 will be added to compensate Design Tria for additional time & materials needed to fill the
gaps on the shrouds (see invoice). For a total of $633.
Payment will be changed (Contract 10 C.) $5,633 will be paid after installation of all art
elements other than application/buffing of anti -graffiti coating and the staining of the gaps
between'the shroud & lamp poles.
Final payment of $1,000 will be paid as defined in the contract.

Project:
West Elizabeth Art in Public Places Project — `Long Live the Pedestrians"
Description of Revisions to the APP W. Elizabeth St. Project:
1. Eight obelisks (#A through #H) were anticipated in the pedestrian cross
walk; only five can be installed due to a conflict with an existing cobra head
light in the median. Four "Topper Sculptures" were anticipated at locations C.
D, E and F on Attachment A. Obelisk #C and Topper Sculpture #C will be
eliminated. (See Attachment A for revised pedestrian cross walk layout.) Tie
plates will be circular and "fender" shaped. Mario Miguel Echevarria will
provide stenciled artwork on the bollard side, prior to installation of final clear
coat sealant on color -stained concrete bollards.
2. City's Light & Power Dept will relocate four Light Pole Banners to the two
cobra head lights in the median.
3. Eighteen mosaics will be placed on the project (See attachment A). They
include two mosaic panels (8 total) on each shroud (4 total), on the East &
West sides of W Elizabeth St. (See attachment)
4. Design Tria will assist with the design and installation of design elements to
cover gap between shrouds & light poles.
