SITE COORDINATION WITH OTHER CONTRACTORS: • EXCEL ENERGIES (OVERHEAD ELECTRIC): ■ COFC Utilities will be removing the existing overhead power lines and poles from the east end of the project at Drake Road and Country Road 9 and going west all the way up to Timberline Road. • COFC WATER UTILITY: ■ The City of Fort Collins Utilities will be installing a large relief sewer for the Sidehill and Rigden Farm 6th Subdivisions as a part of this project and using there own contractor. Coordination between the City and the Contractor will be very important. TRAFFIC CONTROL AND WORK AREA SAFETY: • TRAFFIC CONTROL: ■ The Traffic control for this project will be paid for by the Lump Sum to the Contractor and will include all costs for the traffic control associated with this project. Also contstructing Environmental Drive going east from Drake/Ziegler approx. 900 feet. This work includes rotomilling the existing asphalt roadway and constructing a complete new section with 6.5" of Asphalt, 6" of ABC, and 12" of Flyash Subgrade. The work necessary to complete this Project shall include, but not be limited to the Earthwork, Storm Sewer pipe installation, Box Culvert construction, parking lot upgrades to Cargill Seed Company, curb and gutter installation, sidewalk, fencing and regrading. Substantial Completion shall be defined as the completion of all earthwork, pavement, concrete work, striping, signage, and any other pertinent items as required for this project. The roadway must be opened to traffic. If the Contractor goes past the 75 working days, damages in the amount of $1,150.00 for each working day will be assessed.
