SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
Description of Bid #5853 Anti-Icing System
OPENING DATE: The bid opening date has been changed to May 14, 2004, 3:00p.m. (Our
Clock)
To all prospective bidders under the specifications and contract documents described above, the
following changes are hereby made.
1. The anti-icing spray material shall stay within the red color hatched lines as indicated on
the drawing.
2. The use of sch 40 pvc pipe will be acceptable without concealing it in larger galvanized
piping.
3. All traffic Control within the Parking Structure shall be performed by the City.
4. The Laporte Street entry can be an independent spray system from the main system.
5. In the Specifications Project Description 3rd sentence change “third and fourth” to read “fourth
to fifth”.
