COMPATIBILITY 1: Land use: Wide Boyz BBQ will blend with the land use of the Downtown area by providing quality restaurant food utilizing a minimum of space, therefore leaving Downtown properties to be better utilized by other pedestrian shopping businesses. 2: Transportation: Wide Boyz BBQ, by providing anywhere from a sandwich, to a complete lunchtime meal, will help to promote foot traffic in the Downtown area, providing downtown workers, locals and tourists alike, an alternative to searching for and driving to a destination restaurant, possibly retaining the potential shopper in the Downtown area with a resulting reduction in motorized traffic. 3: Design: See photos. The cart is designed to look and remind the general public of a full service restaurant kitchen; due to the fact it is built of stainless steel, to include an exhaust hood and an Ansil fire suppression system. 4: Security: The cart is provided with locks on all areas of the cart for the short periods that the cart will be left unattended. 5. Parking: Utilizing the fact that the general public will be given another choice of anywhere from a sandwich to a complete lunchtime meal, if a vehicle is in the parking structure or other long term parking, it will not be moved during lunch time, reducing Downtown traffic and not encouraging parking in the street during the afternoon, after the lunchtime break. 6: Maintenance: The cart will be maintained in serviceable order at all times, with the assigned area being protected with mats under the cart to protect the sidewalk area from any possible grease spill. The assigned area will be policed for trash on a continual basis. 7: Economic Development: Wide Boyz BBQ will help to maintain the Downtown pedestrian traffic by providing a meal venue to retain the shoppers in the area rather than going to another part of town in search of meal time alternatives, along with providing the patron short on time a meal outside of the sit-down restaurant. Wide Boyz BBQ will be using and promoting CURTSAUCE as a BBQ sauce, another Fort Collins based product. 8: Aesthetics: Wide Boyz BBQ will provide a clean professional looking, operation, reminding the general public of a restaurant operation while blending in with the well - maintained Downtown area. 9: Ambiance: During the night time operation, the cart will provide food to patrons departing the bars in the Downtown area, giving time not only to sober -up, but to give a substantial food choice to help slow the ingestion of alcohol into the patrons system. With the hopes of quieting exiting patrons and giving something to focus on rather than allowing confrontations with other exiting patrons. 10: Uniqueness: Wide Boyz BBQ is the only food cart in Fort Collins providing BBQ in a quick, to go, manner while providing the look of a full service kitchen. Serving competition quality BBQ, in a street vending atmosphere, from a vending cart reflecting quality, and professionalism that should be expected from any Fort Collins Downtown business. QUALITY OF PRODUCT Wide Boyz BBQ will serve pulled pork, chopped brisket, and chopped chicken sandwiches, ribs, half a Cornish game hen, and sausage, along with sides to include cole slaw, potato salad, baked beans and French fries/ potato tots. With a single serve ice cream as a dessert or treat choice. Canned soda and bottled water will also be available. All food will be prepared to BBQ competition quality. While other competition teams that I have competed against have restaurants, they prepare a different product for turn in to the judges than what they prepare at their restaurants for the general public. Wide Boyz BBQ will prepare all food for turn in for the most discriminating judge, the patrons of Fort Collins. QUALITY OF EQUIPMENT Pictures are included to show that the construction of the cart is of full stainless steel in all visible area of the cart. Cart dimensions are 3 foot wide by 8 foot long and about 7.5 foot tall. The cart also includes restaurant quality, NSF/UL listed equipment to include a dual well steam table, CECILWARE char broiler, and deep fryer, and an ANSEL fire suppression system, with an exhaust hood, the height of the cart is due to the exhaust hood and the Ansil fire suppression system. To maintain the best quality food delivered to the public, food will be stored hot in limited quantities with back up food stored in cleanable well maintained ice chests, stored a minimum of 12" off the ground. A table will be provided for the holding of single serve napkins, plastic ware, and condiments. Ice barrels, on wheels and off the ground, that retain melted water will be provided for the chilling and display of single serve beverages. N M M y f W} N = W No Text
