Box 580 Fort Collins, CO 80522-0580 October 11, 2004 Attention: Janet Please be advised that if the current bid is renewed, the current freight rates of $0.0264 for gasoline will be increased to $0.0300 per gallon and $0.0299 diesel freight rate will be increased to $0.0350 per gallon. The margin structure of $0.0025 will remain the same. Gray Oil had no choice but to increase freight rates in May of 2004 due to the increasing cost of fuel. Many of our competitors and common carriers have increased freight rates and instituted a weekly fuel surcharge to help cover the increased cost of fuel.
