Project is comprised of two components: Base work and alternatives.
To accomplish as much work as fundable.
Each Contractor is to bid on the base work and all of the alternatives. All base
work shall be constructed (if received bids are within estimated cost), and as
many of the alternates as can be funded.
• Fiber Splicing work:
All splice work shall be performed by Fiber Cat.
Scheduling and managing the splicing work is a part of the winning Contractor's
responsibility. Is a component of the Substantial and Final completion timeline.
City will pay for splicing work.
