HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESPONSE - BID - 5869 FIRE ALARM AT CITY HALL WEST (5)BID PROPOSAL BID #5869 FIRE ALARM AT CITY HALL WEST BID OPENING: JULY 22.2004 3.00n m (our clock) WE HEREBY ENTER OUR BID FOR THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS REQUIREMENTS FOR FIRE ALARM AT CITY HALL WEST PER THE BID INVITATION AND ANY REFERENCED SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS: The City Of Fort Collins is requesting bids for a fire alarm system for City Hall West located at 300 Laporte Ave, Ft Collins, CO per the attached specifications and drawings titled: FTC CITY HALL FIRE ALARM. Contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment and permits for a complete job. Work must be completed 45 days after notice to proceed or as directed by the City Project Manager. Awarded contractor must sign the attached Service Agreement and provide insurance per Exhibit "B". Any technical questions should be directed to Steve Seefeld, Project Manager, at 970-221- 6227. Any purchasing questions regarding this bid should be directed to John Stephen, CPPO, CPPB, Senior Buyer at (970) 221-6775. A pre -bid will be held at the site on July 12, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. and is highly recommended that all contractors attend. They are as follows: 1. All wiring required to be modified to by-pass the duct detectors resides in the wire gutter located at the top of the stairs in the Mechanical Penthouse. Tracking down, identifying and modifying wiring outside this wire gutter would be an additional service. 2. The existing Notification Appliance Circuit (NAC) will be served from the new FACP in an "As Is" condition. It is understood by the City that these devices will not meet current Code.
