Description of Bid: 5872 Digger Derrick
OPENING DATE: 2:30 P.M. (Our Clods) August 10, 2004
To all prospective bidders under the specifications and contract documents described above,
the following changes are hereby made.
ADD: Under 6.1, General, add the following:
The digger derrick body will be mounted on a 2005 IH 7600 cab/chassis, which is
on order. The cab/chassis will be drop -shipped to the selected body
manufacturer's factory. The chassis is to be built with a 232" wheelbase,
Cab/Axle 157", Axle to frame 96".
DELETE: Under 6.34, Upper Controls:
Delete this requirement. Upper controls are not needed.
RECEIPT OF THIS ADDENDUM MUST BE ACKNOWLEDGED BY A WRITTEN STATEMENT

Collins, CO prepaid and included.

5. Delivery from receipt of order, 150 days or 90 days after receipt of
chassis, whichever is greater.
6. Chassis requires clean frame rails, side and top. Relocation of chassis
components, to facilitate equipment installation, will be in addition to
above quoted price.
7. Consistent with current I.R.S. rules interpretation, Federal Excise Tax for
chassis over 33,000 GVW has not been added to the price of this
equipment. However, if an I.R.S. determination concludes that Federal
Excise Tax must be collected, the purchaser will be responsible for
payment.

Seller warrants, to the original purchaser only, that all products manufactured in whole by Seller (the
"Product") are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and when properly
installed for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery to the original purchaser ("Purchaser"). For
those products which Seller manufactures only in part (the "Part"), the foregoing applies only to those
Parts. Any defective Product or Part shall be returned to Seller's factory, with transportation charges or
duties to be paid by Purchaser. Seller shall examine the Product or Part and determine to its satisfaction
that the Product or Part is indeed defective. Upon such determination, SELLER'S LIABILITY SHALL BE
LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, AT SELLER'S SOLE ELECTION, OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT
OR PART, AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL SELLER BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR

the annual service Inspection Is performed by an approved entity other than an authorized

TEREX TELELECT WARRANTY
Line Bodies
TEREX TELELECT INC. hereby warrants all line bodies manufactured and supplied by TEREX TELELECT
to be free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of shipment from the TEREX TELELECT
plant. TEREX TELELECT will replace at its plant any body component, which shall, within TWELVE (12)
MONTHS after delivery to the original customer, but not to exceed EIGHTEEN (18) MONTHS from date of
shipment from TEREX TELELECT, be returned to TEREX TELELECT's plant and be found by TEREX
TELELECT to have been defective at the time of original shipment from TEREX TELELECT.
TEREX TELELECT INC. also warrants to the original owner all line bodies made from galvanneal steel from
rust through for a period of 5 years from the date of shipment from TEREX TELELECT's plant.
Exclusions from the 5 year rust through warranty:
Paint required following repairs or replacement of parts under warranty after one year from the date of
shipment.
Products that have been used for the transport of corrosive materials.
• Products purchased in prime paint and installed by the original owner.
DISCLAIMER: THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS
