This project will provide design plans for the construction of a pedestrian Midge over the
Pleasant Valley Lake and Canal irrigation ditch between Mountain Ridge Farm PUD and
Mountain Ridge M. The plans will locate a 6-foot wide pre-engineered pedestrian bridge
crossing. The final plans will be adequate to secure permissions from the Ditch
Company for the crossing and construction of the bridge.
Scone:
1. Topographic Survey of the crossing site. The survey limits are shown on the
attached drawing (approximately 1.5 acres). Ile two existing dead end trails in
the area will be surveyed, the back wall of the house on Lot 22 (Ann Howers —
567-4981) will be surveyed as well as the entire ditch and any utilities located by
the "One Call" service and the City. Estimated cost $1,800.
2. Legal Description and Exhibit for the crossing of the ditch. It is anticipated that
one leg4 description will be needed describing the bridge location in the Ditch
Easement. The plats of the two projects n this area will be the basis for the legal
description. Estimated cost $600.
3. Ditch Crossing Exhibit and Construction Plans showing profiles of the ditch
crossings with the proposed pre-engineered pedestrian bridge location and
elevations, plan views of the horizontal alignment and dimensions of the crossing
and proposed grading. FAlimated cost $3,300.
4. Reimbursable Expenses— Estimated cost $200.
Assumptions / Exclusions:
1. The City will provide abutment design for the proposed pre-engineered
pedestrian bridge.
2. The City will be responsible for procuring easements for the construction of the
bridges and any other required approvals, permissions, or permits.
3. This scope does not include any services during or after construction
(construction staking, observation, record drawings, etc.).
4. No specifications or bid related services are included in this scope.
