Scope of Work
Air Quality Plan Update
EDAW, Inc.
EDAW will assist the Natural Resources Department with the preparation of the Air Quality Plan. A
general review of policies will be conducted by an environmental and air quality specialist. A graphic
designer and editor will assist in comments about report format and provide graphic assistance. The
following tasks will be completed:
Comment on current draft air quality policies arld_im_o_lemQntation stratenies.
Read the current draft air quality policies and proposed implementation strategies. Meet with City air
quality staff to provide the following feedback on policies and strategies:
• General fit with other City Plan policies,
• Content -based comment on policies and strategies (i.e. do the strategies adequately address the
policies, are any key implementation strategies missing, infeasible, or inappropriate),
• Editorial comments on draft policies (identify any areas of concern or lack of clarity),
• Recommendation of an appropriate level of descriptive detail for the 5-year implementation
strategies,
• Suggest a method of numbering and organizing the policies so they fit with City Plan numbering
and still make sense. (Lower priority task)
Deliverable: Verbal feedback during one (2 hour) meeting with City staff.
Schedule: Meeting should occur no later than March 1, 2004
