MASTER CONTROL SCREEN The Master Control Screen (MCS) shall be provided to allow the Range Master to monitor and communicate with the Dynamic One"4 Drive Units at the shooting positions. The Main Control Screen shall have all the necessary control functions for total control and monitoring of the system. The display shall be of a touch -sensitive type for direct command entry without the use of a keyboard or mouse. The LCD display shall provide for fully descriptive pages composed of text and graphics. There shall be a provision in the programming of the MCS to allow the Range Master to set up as many as 100 shooting scenarios and to download a scenario to the Local Control Screens, individually or all simultaneously. All programming information for the pages displayed on the MCS shall be stored in non-volatile EPROM memory in the Master Control Screen. All programming information for the shooting scenarios shall be stored in the Control Host CPU. The system shall incorporate provisions for site -specific alarm indicators for the Master Control Screen that can be programmed to alert range control personnel to problems within the range and system. The display shall be of a backlft electroluminescent design to provide a wide viewing angle and be water-resistant to NEMA 4 standards. The display shall incorporate an audible tone to acknowledge receipt of a command (can be disabled). The MCS shall feature a sleep function to turn off the display after 60 minutes of no activity. The MCS shall communicate with the Host Unit with one 5 conductor cable. The MCS touch screen shall be mounted in a slope front countertop housing fabricated of 16 gauge steel, finished in a textured black baked -on epoxy paint. It shall be possible to download a shooting scenario to the position from the control host on demand. These scenarios shall consist of screens of user-friendly instructions and information. The LCD display shall provide for 4 lines of 20 characters and shall be programmed with data and commands. The eighteen -button membrane keypad shall permit input of parameters and data specific to the scenario in effect. Keys shall be provided for entry of numbers, for cursor control and there shall be four keys adjacent to the screen for software assigned functions. Full functionality is available at the local screen, including target travel, target rotation, timed target exposures and programmed operation. The master control screen enables the user to have complete control of the range, optional peripherals and individual shooting positions. Up to 99 different scenarios can be stored in a non-volatile ram protected system and viewed from the main screen. Shooting scenario programs can be downloaded to individual positions for enhanced shooter challenges.
