Kevin Shironaka, a Colorado native and longtime Weld County resident, born in
Denver and raised in Ordway and Greeley, graduated from University of Northern
Colorado with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Finance. He originally
founded and has been the owner and president of Growling Bear Co. Inc. since its
inception in 1974. Over the years, Kevin expanded his general contracting
construction business to include not only Colorado but other states as well, but has
chosen to concentrate his and the company's efforts in the Colorado Front
Range.....our "neighborhood'.
Kevin not only has expert personal knowledge as to the management of the overall
company but also extensive field experience in the construction of the various projects
undertaken by Growling Bear. He has negotiated over 800 commercial projects and
has been the successful bidder on many other projects, both public and private, along
the Front Range from Cheyenne to Pueblo ranging in price from $50,000.00 to
$8,000,000.00. Kevin has been operating his business, hiring locals, and contracting
with neighborhood businesses for 29 years. Under his leadership, the company has
grown from a few employees to sometimes as many as 60 employees.
His long history and solid reputation in the construction arena has afforded Kevin the
ability to recruit the most experienced and capable construction team in Colorado and
he is continually expanding that team.

other respects perform the Agreement created by the acceptance of said Bid,
then this obligation shall be void; otherwise the same shall remain in
force and effect, it being expressly understood and agreed that the

event, exceed the penal amount of this obligation as herein stated.
