To transform the park area a section of Platte River Drive was removed and the existing park was extended and renovated. Construction included the removal and replacement of (2) existing pedestrian bridges over the Platte River, an asphalt parking lot, concrete sidewalks and bikeway, site signage, a playground, site amenities, irrigation and landscaping.
