R & D VENDING `Business By The Golden Rule" ROGER SORENSEN 2300 Silver Trails Fort Collins, CO 80526 970-225-0294 R&D Vending was formed in 1994, and is a Sole Proprietorship in good standing with all State, County, and City entities. It is owned and operated by myself and one employee that works along side of me. I have 15 accounts and take care of 3000 employees a day, covering Fort Collins, Loveland, Berthoud, Greeley, Windsor —and Eaton. I have set a standard for my company by being the only vendor that services my clients everyday, 7 days a week since day one. This is in fact what has helped to make my company successful. By providing the type of service that other vendors have not been willing to do. When I formed the company, I chose to concentrate on service, and avoided doing business the way competition has done it for years. I do strictly full service vending that provides Pop, Snacks, Food, Coffee, Change Machines and Video Games based on the needs of the client. In regards to my personal resume: 4 years as an Electrician 7 years as Owner/Operator in Skating Rink Business 5 years in Banking/Lending 4 years as Director of Operations for the largest Credit Reporting Agency 9 years as Owner Operator of R&D Vending "Buelneel By The Golden Rule" ROGER SORENSEN 2300 811ver TraUs Fort Coll1ns, CO 80E26 970-22"294 IT ALWAYS COMES DOWN TO SERVICE! • Daily Service - Machines are Serviced and FbMed Daily! • Compaa8hro Prldnp - At or hebw the compeBefon! • Frosh Products - MrerrWy totaled od on a defy beets to keep products pesk Hevar Stalls! • Nedonel, Name Brand Marchendise - Always Top of the Lire! I do this for two reasons. 1) The account deserves to have new equipment. 2) Very little down time. Currently the equipment at both EPIC and Mulberry are new within the last year. Additional equipment would be new, to include the new state of the art snack machine. This new machine protects the customer against lost product. The machine recognizes if the customer has not received their product and will vend automatically again on its own. If it recognizes the customer did not yet receive there product it will try and dispense again. If still no product comes down, it will ask the customer if they want there money back, or would they like to make another selection. The key here with my company is I own my equipment. I do not lease equipment or deal with used equipment like other vendors. Because I own my own equipment, I can service it within 24 hours, and don't have to wait for two weeks for a dealer to come fix a downed machine. Parts are readily available, within an hour away. Because 1 am local, and live in Fort Collins, I can respond quickly to a problem. In the last 4 years at EPIC only 1 machine has gone down, and it was fixed before they even knew there was a problem. There has never been a downed machine at Mulberry Pool. Usually I find and fix 99% of most problems without the client even knowing there was a problem. This is the way it should be, so the client can concentrate on their work, not vending. I received this Proposal Friday, and had my Proposal back to you by Monday. That is how serious and important 1 take the needs of clients. Pricing of Video Games would be $.50 cents per game. Pricing for concession products would stay as they currently are at both locations. Pop is $.75 cents Snacks range from $.75 cents to $1.25. Coffee is $.50 cents Juice machine ranges from $1.00 to $1.50. Pricing is comparable or less than EPIC's concession prices. I would provide all requested equipment per the proposal, and would be willing to add a Change Machine at the DowntownTransfort Bus Station, so they could get out of the change business. I currently already have the proposed Super Chex Machine at EPIC. Would pull it and replace it with a new one. In addition, I would be bringing in either a Super Soccer Machine that works like the Super Chex Machine, or Crusin Exotica, rated PG for All Ages. It is a car racing video game. R & D VENDING "Business By The Golden Rule" ROGER SORENSEN 2300 Silver Trails Fort Collins, CO 80526 970-225-0294 Commission checks have been consistantly issued every month to EPIC and Mulberry Pool along with the gross amounts for the machines. They have never been late. Proposed commission on Pop and Snack Machines 20% Proposed commission on Video Games 40% Proposed commission on Coffee Machines 10% highly recommend that all references be called. When checking on references, ask the client who they used before R&D Vending. In 9 years I have never lost an account. I deal strictly with quality and Name Brand Products. Whenever I market a company, I deal in the truth. When I tell a client I can and will do something, I do it. I never try to over sell, and then not deliver. My clients have come to trust what I say and do for them. In the event I am awarded the proposal, I can have the equipment set within 48 hours. Any cost increases over the last 4 years have been due to wholesale price increases. I truely believe I have set a new standard for vending in Northern Colorado. Other vendors have tried to copy my lead, however they never quite seem to understand, It's The Service! -O Roger Sorensen - Owner/Operator SERIES ob COLD DRINKS _sl isj lw, 14W w 9 CM Oe ke P4801 Faatom ■ Double -Depth High -Capacity Bottle Vending ■ Newly Designed Merchandising Door ■ Large Package Delivery Port ■ Triple - Depth High -Capacity Can Vending ■ Simple Field Conversion for Different Packages ■ Multi -Pricing Capability ■ Historical & Interval Accounting Data ■ DEX & MDB Compatible ■ Automatic Service Diagnostics ■ CFC Free, Lint Tolerant, 1 /3 HP Refrigeration System ■ UL/CUL Outdoor Approval E-581m Mods MODEL ON 276E ON 501E ON 600E SELECTIONS/COLUMNS 717 (7 Narrow) 9/9 (1 Wide/8 Narrow) 9/9 (1 Wide/8 Narrow) DIMENSIONS 72"H x 28"W x 33"D 72"H x 37"W x 33"D 79"H x 37"W x 33"D APPROXIMATE WEIGHT (LBS.) 687 833 891 PACKAGE TYPE Total Column Total Wide Narrow Total Wide Narrow 16/20 OZ.PET/GLASS BOTTLE 196 28 278 54 28 334 62 34 12 OZ.
