Sealed Bids will be received by the City_ of Fort Collins (hereinafter :referred to
as OWNER), at the office or the Purchasing Division, 3:00 P.M., our clock, on.
December 10, 2002.for the Collindale Golf Course Netting project; Bid No. 5752.
If delivered, they are to be delivered to 215 North Mason Street, 2" Floor, Fort
Collins:, Colorado, 80521. If mailed, the mailing address is P. 0. Collins, CC 80522-0580. Box 580, Fort
At said place and time, and promptly thereafter, all. Bids that have been duly
received will be publicly opened and read aloud._
The Contract Documents; provide for furnishing and installing 24 steel poles that
are 40 fcet high above ground and Set in concrete with reinforcing at 50 feet
center to center apart, and 1,200 feet of 40 foot high protective netting, per
specifications and drawings. The net, poles, and foundation are to be designed
for a 10C-mph wind rating, with tile, System to be certified by a licensed
Professional Engineer. Work includes minor excavation, concrete, :;reel poles,
netting, wood baseboard, site clean-up, and all appurtenances for a complete
Project. Warranty on the system must be a minimum of six years, not pro -rated.
