EPIC VENDING MACHINES and VIDEO GAMES
PROPOSAL NUMBER P701
970-225-0294
13) No price increases the first 12 months.
14) No price increase the second 12 months, with the exception of any item having
wholesale price increase of 6% or more. That individual item needs to be
adjusted to correct the lost revenue from the price increase. This will be done
according to contract specifications. Prices may or may not be adjusted
thereafter.
15) We clean our machines daily! We believe a clean machine presents a better
image of what we are trying to do. (Both for ourselves and the client).
16) We are the only vendor that has consistently serviced all or
our clients daily from the beginning. We have lead the industry with this
policy, and it is our company trademark with our clients. We have never had to
be asked to provide this service for our clients because we just do it for them.
No other vendor to our knowledge services all of their accounts everyday.
All of the above can be verified through our references!

SIX VERY GOOD REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE:
R&D VENDING vs.
* fps- machines serviced and
filled daily!
* Fresh Products - Inventory purchased
daily and stocked in machines same
day to keep products fresh, Never
Stale!
* Quality Name Brand Merchandise -
Always Top of the Line!
Hershey, Frito Lay, Hostess!
* New High Performance Machines
Every machine set is Brand New
and has its own Dollar Bill Changer!
Verified through our references and
their employees THERE IS A
DIFFERENCE!!!! In eight years we
have never lost a client!
* Down Time - average refund over the
last 6 months is $.02 cents per
account per month. In last 6 months
one machine was down for only
2 hours.
COMPETITORS
Once a week and sometimes twice a month.
Inventory bought in bulk and warehoused often
up to the stale date of the product.
All to often purchase off Brands, On Sale Items
or from Thrift Stores in order to increase profit
margin. Lacks quality and freshness.
Old machines set with no ability to make
change for a dollar. Often set numerous
machines at a location so they only have to stop
once a week or twice a month.
No client / vendor or employee relationship is
built. Seldom know the vendor has been on site
to stock the machines. Almost NEVER asks the
client if they are having any problems, usually
afraid of the answer.
Response time to service call averages about
two days, and many times several weeks.
Refund average believe it or not is $9.58 per
month per account.

C) References

R & D Vending takes pride in the fact we have never lost a client in 8 years! This is in great part
due to the high degree of Customer Service we provide. The importance of daily service cannot
be stressed enough since it is in fact the main source of our success by recognizing and
eliminating problems before they occur. The following are a couple of references that may be
called on to verify our claim:

us. I maintain, and clean my coffee machines daily and get nothing but
exceptionally good comments on the products received from the
machine. Especially the Fresh Brewed Coffee and French Vanilla Cappuccino.

Every four months we change a couple of items in each categorie to add
variety. I can explain this better if necessary. Prices would remain the
same on new items.
8) All machines will be restocked daily and checked twice a day prior to 6pm.
Monday - Friday. All machines will be restocked and checked on Saturday and
Sunday before 10am. Additional time is available on weekends and holidays to
restock if business warrants it, do to special events or holiday promotions.
9) All equipment set on site will be NEW equipment. Every machine will have a
NEW dollar bill acceptor. Any problems with a machine can be addressed on a
local call (225-0294). We are a Fort Collins company located about 10 minutes
from EPIC making service and response time a much needed benefit to you as a
customer. Response time is generally within a couple of hours. Malfunctioning
equipment is generally repaired within 24 hours. Parts for equipment are readily
available and can generally be installed the same day if necessary. I service
approx. 2500 customers a day, and have 45 machines on locations with a
average of only two service calls per year total. Average time to fix the
machine was 15 minutes.
10) If additional equipment is necessary to handle volume it can generally be on site
within 72 hours. This can be verified through my references.
11) There should be NO need for a City Employee to handle refunds. They have
their own job to do! Because of the way I do business there should be minimal
refunds experienced. This too can be verified through my references! They
experience one refund maybe every three months and the majority have not
experienced any need for refunding. I would be very willing to explain further if
needed. Refunding can be setup to the clients preference.
12) All machines will be tagged in a prominent place with the required Department of
Revenue "Vending Machine Registration" sticker shown on the first page of this
proposal.
