Dear Mr. Betz:
The City of Fort Collins would like to renew bid #5296 with your firm, under the same terms,
conditions and prices as the original bid. We would like to extend the contract through June 30,
2001. If renewal is acceptable to your firm, please sign this letter in the space provided and return
it to the City of Fort Collins, Purchasing Division, P.O. Box 580, Fort Collins, Colorado, 80522,
within the next ten days.
If this extension is not agreeable with your firm, we ask that you send us a written notice stating
that you do not wish to renew the contract and state the reason for non -renewal.
If you have any questions regarding this re al, please contact Opal Dick at 221-6775.

Please renew the contract with Meter Treater Inc. and the contract with Betz Transformers Inc. We are
not using the number of surge suppressors we expected to but should keep the contract open if we need
to order additional units. Betz performance is outstanding.
