To all prospective bidders under the specifications and contract documents described above, the following
changes are hereby made.
1.) SECTION 00300, BID FORM #8. Bid Schedule (see Addendum #2 Bid Form attached)
add: ADD ALTERNATE #1 ($ )
See Drawing - Sheet A3.1; Building Section 1.
Roofing — waterproofing membrane
2.) SECTION 01060, REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS At the end of this section add: Note: Owner
has pre -paid the City of Fort Collins plan review fee.
3.) SECTION 00520, AGREEMENT Article 3, Contract Times, 3.1; change the wording to read: "the
work shall be substantially complete within 120 days ........................final acceptance within 145
days. Also - 3.2 Liquidated Damages; change the wording to read: "Two hundred dollars
($200.00) for each calendar day or fraction thereof that expires after the One hundred -twentieth
(120) calendar day period ........................
4.) SECTION 01310, CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULES, Part 1 General, 1.01 B, change the word
"periodically" to "every two weeks". Also — 1.04 Submissions, A., 1. change the wording to read:
"A/E will review schedules and return review copy within 5 working days........" _and - 1.04, A., 2.
change the wording to read: "If required, resubmit within three (3) working
days...........................
5.) SECTION 1400, QUALITY CONTROL, Part 1 General, - add the following: 1.07 General
Contractor Experience Level, "The Contractor must:
A. have completed at least three (3) projects of similar scope and nature within the past
five (5) years. Verification must be submitted with Bid.
B. have been licensed as a C-1 General Contractor with the City of Fort Collins for a
period of at least one (1) year before the effective date of the agreement of this
contract.
6.) SECTION 01041, SUPERINTENDENT 1.02 Qualifications,

To all prospective bidders under the specifications and contract documents described above, the
following changes are hereby made.
The original opening date has been changed to October 23, 2002, 3:00p.m. (Our Clock).

Contractor shall submit a written resume, references for similar completed projects
and other supporting documents to verify the qualifications of the person(s) to be
employed as superintendent for this project.
7.) SECTION 10270, ACCESS FLOORING 2.01 MODULAR ACCESS FLOORING SYSTEM,
1.06 Revise: To 6 full panels of replacement floor panels.
2.01A Clarification: Floor panels shall be wood core.
2.01F Revise: 1/8" to 1/16" minimum.
8.) GENERAL:
Bid sets are dated 9/9/02.
1 5/8" Galvanized steel studs from floor to ceiling may be used in lieu of furring strips.
Prefinished / Perforated metal panels shall be galvanized with no exposed printing on the visible face
22ga w/ 3/32" diameter holes @ 3/16" staggered centers.
Fireproofing at ceiling shall be re -applied at a thickness to match the existing.
Contractor shall modify by design build the existing sprinkler system including new heads to meet
current code requirements.
Existing floor drains are to remain operational.
Joints in gypsum board shall be staggered where multiple layers of gypsum board occur.

General Notes
There are no new door openings saw -cut in walls.
System Notes
Floor type F2 Gyperete may be used in lieu of concrete leveling compound Gyperete /
Concrete leveling compound is to be at the control room for a level surface for the
access flooring and miscellaneous patching of the floor where demolition had
previously occurred.
Floor type F5 receives 2 layers of :Y4" plywood. As shown on detail 8/A5.1

II. SECTION 15990 — TESTING, ADJUSTING, AND BALANCING
1. Paragraph 1.A: add Checkpoint Balance as an approved balancing firm.

1. Demo existing Condensing Unit, Refrigerant Lines and Chilled water connections. See Sheet

1. Add new refrigerant lines from existing fan coil, in existing Control room to new condensing
unit.CU-4. Add area for slab on grade to set CU-4 and future condensing unit. Replace RR=1
