Here is a suggested menu for the celebration on Oct 18. We have included a list
of options in the event you may want to change the selections.
A couple of notes. I have spoken to Stephanie Howell at the Senior Center and she has
indicated that the Senior Center does not have enough china etc. to serve 500 guests. 300
is a more reasonable number that she can take care of with dishes, glassware, and
flatware. We could rent but Stephanie insists that we rent all or none. We may not rent
china and also use hers. Disposables are always an option.
We are already purchasing locally grown organic producel(when ever possible.
We will do our best to comply with your request wherever possible.
Thank you,
Steve Jones

To Whom This May Concern:
Thank you so much for the opportunity to bid the Natural Areas 1 Oth Anniver-
sary Celebration. Enclosed is our catering services proposal for bid # 5733.
In addition to our menu proposed, we wanted to let you know that you can
customize the menu by choosing any seven of the hors de oeuvres and any
three of the desserts out of all of the selections on both menus.
Furthermore, we will proved linens, skirting & harvest colored clothes for our
banquet tables. The Senior Center, however, will need to provide the tables for
us. We will require 3 eight foot banquets for the event.
Another item that may be of interest to you for your function is that Paul Pelle-
grino, (head chef for All Occasions) aired a 1/2 hour program on local televi-
sion last fall which promotes local vendors and the farmers market. This
broadcast has a cooking demonstration and has an interview with a local
farmer. We thought this tape could mesh nicely with your harvest theme and
wanted to let you know that it is available to you if you would like to use it for
your function. This is available for you to preview at any time.
Thanks again for the opportunity to bid the harvest event. Please contact me if
you have any additional comments or questions regarding our proposal.
Sincerely,
011
