The City acknowledges that there are existing railroad tracks running parallel to Mountain Avenue within the furthest south lane of west bound Mountain Avenue. The tracks which are within the construction limits of the Mountain Avenue Drainage Improvements are to be removed and stored on site (no more than 48 hours) as part of line item 6, remove and dispose concrete street (approx. 8" depth) & asphalt overlay (depth varies). Once removed, the Contractor will contact the City to pick up and store the tracks at its discretion. 2. City Stormwater crews will not be placing the storm drainage catch basins along the street. The Contractor will be responsible for removing and replacing the storm drainage catch basins (including the grates) to the designated grade. Line item 37 has been adjusted on the bid tab to read the following: Line Item 39 remove and replace storm drainage catch basins (set to grade) The plans also say the storm drainage catch basins are to be removed by others, but, in reality, they are to be removed by the contractor. 3. City Stormwater crews will be adjusting both the manholes and water valves for the project. Line Items 21 and 22 have been deleted. 4.
