PROJECT TITLE: Second Sheet of Ice at EPIC

DESCRIPTION: The design and construction of an addition to the Edora Pool Ice Center (EPIC) to house a
full size ice arena and associated facilities and equipment.
In preparing change orders show in order as separate numbered paragraphs the following:
1. Reason for change: To upgrade the designed fire alarm system for the addition by adding the voice
evacuation required by the Code, per direction from Poudre Fire Authority.
2. Description of change: Provide all materials, labor and equipment necessary to upgrade the fire alarm
system to include: adding fifteen (15) 75cd candela strobes; adding four (4) 75cd, seventeen (17) 30cd and
nine (9) 110cd speaker/strobes (one (1) will be replacing an existing strobe); adding three (3) intelligent
photoelectric smoke detectors for duct detectors, along with three (3) LED remote alarms and three (3) air
samplers; adding one (1) EST3 Control Panel, one (1) Base Remote Ampler and two (2) Base Power
Boosters; also adding miscellaneous equipment such as drivers, amplifiers, dialers, graphic map, boxes,
modules and controllers.
3. Change in Contract Cost: $29,797.92
4. Change in Contract Time: 0 Days
