To all Contractors and subcontractors under Specifications and Contract Documents
described above, the following Architectural Supplemental Instructions shall apply:
1. Please modify the domestic water service entry location to the new room.
located at Grid C/7 for the fire riser per ASI-3. The Fort Collins Building
Dept. will allow domestic service to cross the sanitary sewer as needed
provided it is encased for 10'-0" either side of the sanitary sewer in Schedule
40 PVC. The fire riser and domestic Crvice could utilize the same trench.
2. Please relocate the fire riser and back -flow device from the Cart Storage room
created in ASI-3 back to the original riser room location due to the presence of
grade level emergency discharge. Service entry into the building will remain
as indicated through the floor per ASI-3. Water service and back flow devices
will remain on first level as well.

RE: Under slab drain — Terracon open hole inspection report dated May 24, 2002

Jeff,
We met on Thursday morning at the Collindale Clubhouse site to review and discuss the
open hole inspection reporT dated Miy 24, 2002 from Terracon. Those in attendance
include Steve White, Matt Rankin, Pat McCann, Doug Jobe and Gary Chaney.
It was determined that, while there is potential for water table fluctuation; our finished
floor slab elevation of 65.00' still tv nains 6-7 feet above said table and the potential for
water infiltration from hydrostatic pressure is minimal. Furthermore, it was determined
that hydrostatic pressure on the vertical walls of the basement would eventually appear
under the floor slab. This water quantity would be such an insignificant amount that a
perimeter drain system is really not necessary.
The enclosed sketch represents precautionary measures which were discussed, agreed
upon, and 1 request be priced for evaluation by the parts including the following: owner, This solution consists of two

eveia Furthermore, said pipe should be laid in 12" wide bed of free
draining gravel for its entirety and be latated approximately equally
between footings, thus seOarating the finished space. Recommendations
for over excavation Also, please include the price for over excavation
and installation of the recotnutended 12" thickness of 1-1I2" free draining
gravel as recommended Water proofing of the elevator pit currently
complies with recommendations and no additional measures are needed.
