Transportation Planning share of this funding.

Let me try to clarify how we are gathering and assigning the resources for the Downtown Strategic Plan.
The City will front end the resources in the amount of $275,000. Over time, the DDA will reimburse the
City for this amount. Advanced Planning needs to identify an account, into which Doug will transfer the
$275,000 for the Downtown Strategic Plan.
Gary Diede informed me yesterday that the transportation element of the plan is estimated to cost an
additional $28,000. This will be split between the General Fund ($14,000) and the Transportation Fund
($14,000). The General Fund share will be transferred into the Advanced Planning Account for the
Downtown Strategic Plan. For the Transportation amount, a separate account needs to be identified in
Transportation for the Downtown Strategic Plan-- this is because the $14.000 from Transportation cannot
be transferred to the Advanced Planning Account (in General Fund) without a formal, Council transfer of
appropriations between these two funds.
So, what we need is:
a. An account number from Advanced Planning for the Downtown Strategic Plan project (Joe)
b. An account number from Transportation for the Downtown Strategic Plan project (Gary)
Please get these account numbers to Jim O'Neill and Doug Smith.
