Subject: Backfill Bid Evaluation
After evaluating the two bids, Light & Power has decided to award the bid to Aggregate Industries for the
following:
100% of Sand and Water @ $35.70 per cu. yd.
100% of Non -yielding Backfill (Flow -fill) @ $38.45 per cu. yd.
100% of Slurry Concrete @ $51.10 per cu. yd.
100% of Ready -Mix Concrete @ $62.10 per cu. yd.
As before, we would like this bid to run for three years if the vender can maintain his quoted price.

Upon review of the Aggregate Industries material test results it is apparent that their product meets or
exceeds the specification standards. Based on this, they are approved to bid and supply our backfill
material.
