VERSATILE WOOD SHREDDER
The BH120H Bull Hog shredder from
Fecon, Inc. has three-quarter inch body
end plates and one-half inch belt hous-
ing covers that are fastened to the out-
side of the housing through heavy bar
stock. New features prevent brush from
jamming. Wear -resistant skid shoes
have been added to allow easier removal
and installation of the belt housing cov-
ers. There are bolt -on access panels on
the top and in the rear for easier mount

biosolids per minute in a dewatering

COMPOSTABLE PLASTIC
FOR MINIDISCS
Japan -based Sony plans to wrap its
minidiscs with compostable plastic de-
signed by Cargill Dow, according to Re-
sources Report: Newsletter for Sustain-
able Development. The corn -based
wrapping will carry special labels to
alert consumers to its environmental-
ly -friendly qualities. The new wrap is
called Nature Works PLA. Contact

TROMMEL FOR RECYCLING LINE
The 770 Single -Skin Trammel from
Finlay Hydrascreens is designed to
process a variety of materials, includ-
ing compost, and offers an undercar-
riage with either wheels or tracks, that
can "move with a windrow." It also has
direct drum feed with a 42-inch feed
belt into a 7.5 cubic yard hopper. Op-

Brown Bear Corporation has intro-
duced a revised model of its PTO
PA35C-10.5 farm tractor composter
unit. It is designed to be attached to
the front of 100-160 hp farm tractors.
The unit requires front three-point
hitch, 1,000 RPM PTO creeper trans-
mission and is available for ISO and
counter ISO PTO shaft rotation.

nance of composting facilities, including two
(2) years of supervisory and marketing expe-
