Hi Deb,
I spoke to Chuck Seest about this PO; it got closed out with the Blanket Orders at the end of the year
because the description on the requisition that was converted said "Blanket for 2002". Therefore, the
process thought it was a 2001 blanket to be closed at the end of 2001 (since 2002 blankets cannot be
entered until 2002).
I did a PO Addendum to PO 9933689 for $3,077.40; so you can receive on it. Unfortunately, there is no
way to go back and encumber the 2001 funds now that the PO has been closed out.
I guess we will just have to chalk this one up to experience; now we both know that the word "Blanket"
cannot appear in the Description line, or the PO will be closed out at the end of the year even though it is
not set up as a true Blanket purchase order.
Sorry for the confusion.
