installation requirements. Thereafter, Duro-Last will issue a 15 Year NDL (No -Dollar -Limit)
Warranty, covering workmanship, product defects, consequential damages, and no exclusions
for ponding water.

If available, Owner is to supply electricity for the execution of the work described herein.
Furthermore, during the execution of the work described herein, Owner to coordinate the
relocation of'vehicles and to provide an appropriate staging area for equipment and materials,
as needed.

The start date is based upon the current RTN schedule and weather. Signing of this proposal will
facilitate entering this project into the current RTN project schedule.

Scope of Work
We propose to install the complete 50-mil, mechanically -attached Duro-Last single -ply roofing
system using tan colored membrane according to the manufacturer's requirements, local codes,
and the following details:
1. The existing roof will remain in place and will be prepared to accept the installation of the
new roofing system by removing debris, etc.
2. Deteriorated plywood decking, if any, will be removed and replaced on the time & materials
basis of $75 per hour, plus materials, which will not be marked up more than 15%.
3. The metal pans will be filled with EPS insulation and the entire roof surface will be overlaid
with 1" ridged Insulation to create a sound surface for the installation of the new membrane.
This will increase the R-Value by 6.
4. The new membrane will run up and over the parapet walls and will be nailed off on the
outside edge and then new coping will be installed on one side only.
5. The existing parapet wall coping will be removed and reinstalled after the roofing membrane
Is Installed on one side and at the roof peak.
6. Moisture relief vents will be installed about every 1,000 SF to effectively allow the roof to
breathe.
7. All welds will be checked for integrity and the roof and surrounding area will be cleaned of
all roofing debris.
8. All work will be performed in a courteous and professional manner.
9. All work performed will be done in accordance with required safety guidelines.
10. Electrical work, if any, to be done by others.
Payment Terms (negotiable)
Payment for the execution of this proposal shall be made payable to RTN Roofing Systems and
according to the following schedule:
• 100% upon completion of project
Proposal Amount
This is a lump sum proposal, which will be honored for no more than 30 days.
Options
The following options have been made available for this project. Please initial by each option to
accept that specific option. Any options not initialed for acceptance will be considered as a

minimum).
3. 1/4" Dens Deck will be installed directly under the roofing membrane, providing increased
hail protection and a Class A fire rating.
4. 1/4" per foot sloped crickets will be installed as deemed necessary to facilitate proper
drainage.
5. Where the roof meets the higher walls, the membrane will terminate a nominal 12" - 18"
above the roof deck.
6. The new membrane will run up the south parapet wall and will be terminated with
termination bar at the 45" angle.
7. All rooftop curbs and penetrations will be completed with custom prefabricated Flashings.
8. Walkway pads will be installed at the service side of each of the major rooftop units.
9. Moisture relief vents will be installed about every 1,000 SF to effectively allow the roof to
breathe.
10. All welds will be checked for integrity and the roof and surrounding area will be cleaned of
all roofing debris.
11. All work will be performed in a courteous and professional manner.
12. All work performed will be done in accordance with required safety guidelines.
13. HVAC and electrical work, if any, to be done by others.

1. The existing roof will remain In place and will be prepared to accept the installation of the
new roofing system by removing debris, etc.
2. Deteriorated plywood decking, if any, will be removed and replaced on the time & materials
basis of $75 per hour, plus materials, which will not be marked up more than 150/a.
3. The metal pans will be filled with EPS Insulation and the entire roof surface will be overlaid
with 1" ridged insulation to create a sound surface for the installation of the new membrane.
This will increase the R-Value by a minimum of 6.
4. The new membrane will run up and over the parapet walls and will be nailed off on the
outside edge and then new coping will be installed,

is installed at the roof peak.

12. A portion of this new roof install will require a manlift. RTN will need access for this and will
not be responsible for damage to landscaping, if any.

according to the following schedule:

relocation of vehicles and to provide an appropriate staging area for equipment and materials,

system using tan colored membrane according to the manufacturer's requirements, local codes,
and the following details:
