PROJECT LOCATION: Albion Way from Elmhurst Drive to Manhattan Avenue
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Project involves the installation of a new six inch (6") PVC water line Albion Way and
abandonment of the existing six inch (6") main between Elmhurst Drive and Manhattan
Avenue Existing water service Imes will be removed from the existing main and tied to
the new water line in Albion Way The existing fire hydrant service line will be removed
from the existing main and tied to the new water line in Albion Way
City crews anticipate construction of these improvements in September 2001

SCOPE OF SERVICES:
A City of Fort Collins to supply site information as follows.
1 Horizontal locations of curb, gutter, sidewalk, property and right-of-way
lines and location of surface features
Horizontal and vertical locations of all utilities within the project site
Horizontal and vertical location of asphalt and gravel pavement surfaces
Horizontal location of all valves, service lines, curb stops and meter pits
Data files in AutoCad format containing the above information
Conduct site visit with Sear -Brown staff to review scope of the project
B Sear -Brown to supply the following services
1 Conduct site visit with Utilities staff to review proposed scope of the
project
2 Horizontal and vertical locations of curb, gutter, sidewalk and access
ramps
Horizontal location of all utilities within the project site

4 Approximate horizontal location of all valves, service lines, curb stops and
meter pits
5 Set a vertical control point.
6 Prepare drawings/plans as follows
a Plan & profile, and detail sheets in a 24" by 36" format
b Sheet(s) will contain plan and profiles views of the distribution
line and detail the areas of abandonment
c Plan view(s) will contain location of existing site features,
utilities, control points, and the location of proposed
improvements
d Profile view(s) will contain the approximate vertical location of
utilities where crossing the water line
e A detail sheet will be prepared to show details of the following.
1) Valves
2) Service connections.
3) Bedding zone and trench detail
4) Fire hydrant
7 Review alignment and abandonment approaches with City staff
8 Prepare Drawings of Record (as-builts) based on information supplied by
City's water utility crew
