person or persons Bidding for the same Work, and that it is made in
pursuance of and subject to all the terms and conditions of the Invitation
to Bid and Instructions to Bidders, the Agreement, the detailed
Specifications, and the Drawings pertaining to the Work to be done, all of
which have been examined by the undersigned

Gallagher Asphalt proposes to Hot-m-Place recycle, rejuvenate, and recompact the existing
asphalt in one pass The one inch hot mix overlay will then be placed by Laforge within 48 hours
of Hot -In -Place recycling This allows more complete compaction of individual layers of material,
as well as, less interruption of traffic This method is used extensively in Chicago and surrounding
suburbs Gallagher Asphalt alone does in excess of one million square yards per year under these
methods
The trucking is figured using City of Fort Collins trucks per the 4/24/2000 specifications
Dictation of the City truck start times and numbers of trucks will be by Laforge Production rates
vary from 60 to 120 tons per hour Additional tandem trucks needed will be billed at
$66 00/hour
Traffic Control should be kept to a minimum since cars can drive on the recycled surface
Immediately after rolling
