The City of Fort Collins wishes to extend the agreement term per the existing terms and conditions
The term will be extended for one (1) additional year, March 1, 2008 through February 28, 2009
If the renewal is acceptable to yourfirm, please sign this letter in the space provided and return it to
the City of Fort Collins, Purchasing Division, P O Box 580, Fort Collins, CO 85022, within the next
fifteen days Please have your insurer send us an updated Certificate of liability Insurance, naming
the City of Fort Collins as an additional insured, for the Bid Renewal file It can be faxed to us at
(970) 221-6707
The City continues to be highly interested in opportunities to reduce the volume of trash that it
generates from municipal facilities and services, and to recycle as many materials as possible
To follow up on the audit of City accounts that occurred in July, 2007, Waste Management, Inc
is asked to provide an audit report to the City by June 1, 2008 The report will help the City
evaluate whether service levels adjustments can be made (e g , either with smaller waste
containers or less frequent collections), whether there are recyclable materials in the City's
waste stream that could be captured more successfully, or any other recommendations that
Waste Management, Inc can provide to help the City in its efforts to be a 'Colorado Pollution
Prevention Champion's
If this extension is not agreeable with yourfirm, we ask that you send us a written notice stating that
you do not wish to renew the contract and state the reason for non -renewal
