Ile supervises all day to day course operations. He makes all daily crew work assignments and participates in those assignments where necessary. He programs the irrigation system. The C.P.N. assistant is also responsible for all computer operations at the course. Golf Maintenance Technician - The Maintenance Tech. under the supervision of the Superintendent. or Asst. superintendent. performs a variety of skilled technical and limited supervisory work in the operations, maintenance, construction and repair of the golf course. He assists in planning and organizing work assignments and problem solving. He must know how to operate, maintain, service, and mechanically repair all course equipment and irrigation systems. He participates in all mowing, chemical application and related maintenance of the golf course. SEASONAL WORKERS - C.P.N. Two Seasonal Equipment Operators are required at C.P.N. Golf Course. They are hired approximately March 1, and work full time until November 1. Each seasonal works approximately. 1400 hours per season with an additional 60+ hours of overtime work on weekends, holidays, or in excess of eight hours daily. SEASONAL WORKER DUTIES Seasonal #1 - Participates in all mowing, raking, sweeping, irrigation system repair, construction projects and related maintenance on the course. In addition this individual is responsible for all machine repair which includes diagnosis of problems, parts ordering and replacement, and actual repair of the machine. Seasonal #2 - Participates in all mowing, raking, sweeping, chemical applications, irrigation system repair, construction projects, and related maintenance on the course. In addition this individual is responsible for the daily course set-up. this responsibility includes cup changing & pin placement, tee marker movement, ball washer care, bench placement, practice green set-up, and general course appearance.
