storage area, and the equipment storage and repair area.
White Barn - The white barn storage area is located

Irrigation system parts and pipe are also stored in this

large equipment is also housed in this area.
Pump House - A pump house is located on the North side
of Sheldon Lake in City Park. This pump house contains the
irrigation system pumps for the entire golf course.
WATER SOURCES - C.P.N.
C.P.N. is irrigated with raw water. The water is
stored and pumped out of Sheldon Lake located in City
Park. The water is supplied to the lake from the Pleasant
Valley Ditch through a series of underground tile lines.
Raw water is available for course use from May through
October in average years. If additional water is required
it is hauled in tanks from potable sources located on the
golf course - (ie. - hydrants and maintenance shop taps).
Irrigation system - C.P.N. has a Toro electric, valve
in head, irrigation system. Installation of the system
began in 1980 by the golf course staff and completed in
1984. originally the system was controlled by air
hydraulics. In 1989 it was decided to convert to electric
control and to computerize the central control by using a
Toro Network 8000 system. This conversion was completed in
1994.
The irrigation system consists of eleven (11) in field
satellite control stations which operate 340 individually
controlled sprinkler heads. The sprinkler heads are layed
out in a single row design in the center of each fairway
leading to a rectangular design around each green. Roughs
are irrigated by part -circle heads located around the
perimeter of the course with full -circle heads filling in
the open ,areas in a triangle pattern. Each fairway can be
isolated for repair work by closing a manual gate valve.
The pumping station was installed in 1979. The station
