RE: Clarifications
Two questions have been asked which I would like to clarify as follows
In regard to Private Golf Car Usage "Trail Fees" The fees are meant for each separate golf
car unit, not per users of said private golf car For example, Mr Smith owns an E-Z-Go and
registers it at Collmdale only for $150 He signs the form The car can be used by himself,
his wife, family, co-owner partner, etc for that $150 fee Mr Smith should not loan his golf
car to other golfers or charge anyone else a fee to use his golf car on our courses
2 Gift Certificates vis-a-vis the Surcharge Fee When all Gift Certificates are either sold or
issued, the Surcharge Fee should be included at the time of sale or issue, and recorded at that
time We do not collect a Surcharge Fee from the user of a Gift Certificate at the time of
usage, and we need to note the same on the daily forms that no fee from that user was
collected, similar to 10-Play Punch Cards
The cash value of some certificates may be less than the actual cost of the usage In those
cases, the customer should pay the cash differential with those cash amounts attributed to
Green Fees, Golf Car Rental, etc , as is appropriate, and so noted in the paperwork
