RE: Private Golf Car Usage
In 1998, one of the areas I want to improve upon is the management of private golf cars using our golf
courses Every time a privately -owned golf car is used on one of our three City Golf Courses we need
to collect a "trail fee" for said usage, and have one of the attached forms on file at the home course Pro
Shop
Privately -owned golf car users have a choice of either paying an annual fee (good from January 1
through December 31) of $150 for the "home course" and $100 for each course added for a maximum
rate of $350 per year, or they may pay $12 daily They must also sign the "Private Golf Car Usage
Form" when they pay their chosen fee
Please keep the white copy of the form on file in your Pro Shop, give the yellow copy to the customer,
and put the pink copy in the deposit bag If you or one of your Course Monitors or other staff members
find a non-registered/paid privately -owned golf car on your course, you should ask the owner/user to
register and pay at the Pro Shop, or to leave the golf course if they do not comply The Police can be
called if you feel it is necessary as an unregistered privately -owned golf car user is considered as a
trespasser once they have been officially notified
As SouthRidge will probably have the most such privately -owned golf cars, Derek has created a sticker
that he will attach to each registered annual golf car to help identify it on the course Daily "trail fee"
customers should be told to be prepared to show their yellow copy of the form if necessary to prove that
they have registered that particular day
In order to give customers a reasonable amount of time to comply this year, I'd suggest full enforcement
begins April 1 Please make sure that you clearly record each and every private golf car payment so

any harm, injury or damage caused as a result of your being permitted the usage of said private golf car
on our City golf course(s), and you agree to assume and be responsible for all harm, injury or damage
caused by you and your private golf car to other individuals, to the golf course, golf course equipment,
other golf cars or other personal property located or used in conjunction with the golf courses, and that you
will either personally or through your homeowner's insurance pay for all such damage or injury
