RE 2002 Annual Pass Per Play Fees and 10-Play Punch Card Conversions
2002 Annual Pass Per Play Fees
I have been giving this a great deal of thought, and I have decided that the simplest and probably the
fairest way to handle Annual Pass Per Play Fees in 2002 with the least amount of brain damage is to
continue to charge ALL 'old" 2001 and "new" 2002 Annual Pass Cardholders using City Park Nine and
Collmdale the existing 2001 Per Play Fees for January and February, 2002 Then, starting on March 1,
2002, ALL 2002 Annual Pass Cardholders using City Park Nine and Collmdale will pay the new higher
2002 Annual Pass Per Play Fees
Annual Pass Per Play Fees at SouthRidge will go up to the new 2002 rates effective January 1, 2002, as
Annual Pass players at SouthRidge pay one-half of the Non -Prime Time Green Fee rates, which also go
up effective January 1, 2002
10-Play Punch Card Conversions
As we have done for several years now, we will continue to allow a "grace period" for customers to
utilize their 2001 10-Play Punch Cards until January 31, 2002
Also, as we discussed at a recent Golf Staff meeting, you may convert all requested unused 10-Play
Punch Card punches from any prior years into an equal dollar value in 2002 10-Play Punch Card punches
For example, 2001 9-Hole Universal Cards cost $115, or $11 50 per punch 2002 9-Hole Universal
Cards cost $125, or $12 50 per punch Therefore, effective January 1, 2002, you can either charge the
customer an additional cash fee of $1 00 per unused punch for an equal number of 2002 punches, or you
can credit $11 50 per unused punch towards a brand new 2002 10-Play Punch Card, as per the desires of
the customer As you may recall, it was determined by the City that once someone pays the City a fee,
they are entitled to utilize that credited fee towards the cost of the existing fee for the same purpose
You will then record whatever new total fee that you charge each customer on the daily form that you
send into the City that eventually goes to Patty Carroll, as we discussed Remember, though, that you
cannot ever issue a cash refund for the 10-Play Punch Cards If someone insists on a cash refund, you
will ask them to contact me
Please call me if you have any questions or concerns Thank you
